As a seasoned family photographer, I had the pleasure of working with Courtney, Charles, and their adorable son Cayden (1 1/2 – view his Belly to Baby sessions here) in my studio in Greenwich Connecticut to create a maternity session that beautifully encapsulated the uniqueness of their family dynamic.
From the beginning, Courtney expressed her desire for a blend of formal portraits and candid shots. The session was designed to include moments of intimacy, playfulness, and a touch of elegance to reflect their clean-cut style and modern farmhouse decor.
Courtney had specific requests for the grouping and poses, including individual shots of her, family photos with Charles and Cayden, and a few artistic shots – a nod to a previous session.
Describing their family home style in Shelton Connecticut as a fusion of farmhouse, modern, and industrial, the Hulsizers bring a unique blend of edgy and clean-cut elements to their living spaces and personal fashion choices. Courtney, with her edgier personal style, effortlessly complements the family’s overall modern aesthetic.
