Of the many hats I wear the three that make my heart sing the most are mother of two beautiful souls, wife to an amazing Renaissance man, and photographer chasing light, shadow, and color.
Although a Michigan native, after 25 years in Connecticut the East Coast has become my home.
My large extended family (35 first cousins!) is fun, creative, crazy, and full of love, warmth, music, and art.
I have a passion for color. You will often find me coloring by myself, with my daughter, or on my iPad (coloring apps are addictive!).
I've collected rocks and shells since I was a small child. My collection followed me when I moved from Michigan to Connecticut 22 years ago. I continue to gather these gems, which adorn my home in various glass containers.
The beach is my heaven on earth, and I'm obsessed with islands. We include islands in as many vacations as we can, including annual summer trips to Martha's Vineyard.
Music is in my soul - singing, dancing, listening and live concerts. I sing in the car, the shower, while doing laundry, dishes, editing photos, coloring, and until someone asks me to stop... :)
Yoga, bike riding and dancing are my favorite ways to move.
I commune with nature whenever possible. I'm in love with trees, flowers, humpback whales, most fuzzy creatures, amphibians, reptiles, bugs, sea mammals and on and on...
My bucket list includes sky diving, hang gliding, a long distance hot air balloon ride, swimming with humpback whales, learning to fly a plane and drive a race car, and visiting The Galapagos Islands.
I'm grateful for my husband and kids, my large loving family, and my dear close friends - all of whom are my backbone and the core of my inspiration.
