It seems like it was just yesterday that I photographed beautiful Blake’s Newborn Session. And now, here she is at two years old! Happy Birthday to Blake! I love being able to see clients I have photographed before. These clients are especially wonderful, referring other clients to me! I am so excited to share the images from Blake’s second birthday milestone session. These photographs will look darling displayed in the family’s home, and I just know Blake will have a blast seeing new pictures of herself on the walls!

There is something so clean and timeless about a simple white studio backdrop, and the lovely lavender hues of this session really leant themselves to popping out from the background. Well, this little cutie is just the most exquisite toddler. You can tell that she’s extremely comfortable in front of the camera! I adore her relaxed and easy smile, and that really helps when it comes to taking fantastic photographs.
I don’t know about you, but I love the idea of having a photography studio all to myself for my child. Getting to capture these images without distractions is just so special. When it comes to timeless portraits of our children, we really don’t need all the hullabaloo, do we? We just need the people who matter most to us … and maybe a really pretty studio setting, too.
